Todd

Dr. Todd Broder

Psychiatrist

Dr. Broder is a Board Certified adult and forensic psychiatrist having  received his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University before attending medical school, psychiatry residency, and forensic fellowship at the University of Florida. In 2009, University of Florida was one of the first institutions nationwide to introduce Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Dr. Broder became proficient in treatment early in his career.

After residency training he assumed the role of Medical Director for Flagler Hospital’s behavior health department. He maintains a faculty appointment at the University of Florida and participates in shaping the future of mental health through training of both medical students and physician assistants. In addition, Dr. Broder has served as an investigator for several clinical trials exploring the potential future use of novel therapeutic treatments He is also a nationally recognized educator providing continuing medical education lectures through Psych Congress. 

Susan

Susan Kessler

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Susan Kessler is a Florida licensed and Board certified adult  psychiatric nurse practitioner. She received her masters degree in nursing from Louisiana State University. 

She has extensive experience providing adult psychiatric medication management.

She views mental health as integral to ones  overall well-being, advocating for a holistic approach to healthcare. 

Her goal is to provide exceptional mental healthcare to her patients, and ensuring that they receive the best possible care. 

In her free time she enjoys travel, relaxation, and quality time with family and friends.

Chad Chernet, Esq.

Marketing Director

Chad Chernet, esq. has dedicated his life to the service of others and supporting people in their journey to achieving unbreakable mental health. Utilizing his education from the University of Florida (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Advertising) and a law degree (Juris Doctorate J.D. from Nova Southeastern University), Chad has focused his energy on assisting people in capturing and experiencing their full potential in life. After completing over 300 hours of pro bono legal assistance and graduating in the top 5% of his law class, he chose to become a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and served two and a half years in Bulgaria. While in Bulgaria he worked as an Economic Development Volunteer at a City Hall, taught Management and Marketing techniques at a local high school and worked with orphans.

Following Peace Corps service, Chad arrived back in the United States and began work with a corporate law firm but then quickly moved into immigration law, assisting some of our most vulnerable populations to assimilate and achieve the American dream. Chad also spent another six years working as a full-time employee with the U.S. Peace Corps and then two years with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Chad has also owned and operated a small immigration law firm as well as a preschool that focused on low-income families, ensuring their children are able to access high quality early childhood education.

Chad is a trained Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technician and currently has the privilege of being the Marketing Director for BALANCE Psychiatry & Wellness. Chad is a strong supporter and active practitioner of meditation, yoga and weight training.
